Bogor - Rawamangun bersama Putra Pelangi Perkasa OC500RF 2542

Pada Selasa tanggal 11 November 2014, saya berkesempatan menaiki bus Putra Pelangi Perkasa dari Pool Tajur, Bogor ke Terminal Rawamangun, Jakarta.Meskipun dalam jarak yang singkat, tetapi perjalan tersebut sangat berkesan bagi saya.

Saat bus berangkat dari Tajur sekitar jam 11, ada salah satu penumpang tujuan Duri yang sangat mengagumi bus terbaru Putra Pelangi Perkasa tersebut. Bahkan dia bercerita selama 6 tahun bolak-balik Jakarta - Duri bersama Putra Pelangi Perkasa. Baru kali ini dia mendapatkan bus yang sangat bagus. Saya pun berkata kepada beliau bahwa bus ini baru saja keluar dari karoseri dan apa yang dialami beliau kali adalah momen yang langka.

Sesaat masuk tol Jagorawi, salah satu crew bertanya kepada saya apakah saya tau jalan ke arah Terminal Rawamangun. Saya pun mengiyakan jawaban tersebut dan saya beri penjelasan detail mengenai rute ke Terminal Rawamangun dari Tol Jagorawi. 2 dari 3 crew ternyata tidak tau jalan ke Terminal Rawamangun, termasuk driver. Dan satu crew sebenarnya tau tapi dia lupa. Meskipun hal kecil, tapi saya senang bisa membantu crew Putra Pelangi Perkasa.

Sekitar 300 m dari exit TMII, salah satu crew secara spontan bilang kepada driver untuk keluar exit TMII karena ada penumpang dari Terminal Pinang Ranti. Sementara bus ada di jalur 3 dari kiri, cukup berbahaya menurut saya untuk spontan membelokan bus ke arah exit TMII. Namun dengan kepiawaian sang driver, bus berhasil menuju exit TMII tanpa mengganggu kendaraan yang lain. Patut diacungi jempol.

Pada jam 13.30 bus sampai di Terminal Rawamangun, banyak orang yang memperhatikan bus Putra Pelangi Perkasa OC500RF 2542 dan tidak sedikit pula yang mengambil foto. Setelah bus berhenti, saya pun pamit kepada seluruh crew dan mengucapkan banyak terima kasih atas kesempatan yang telah diberikan.

4 Unit Putra Pelangi Mercedes-Benz OC500RF 2542 sudah rilis

Pada hari sabtu tanggal 8 November 2014, saya berkesempatan mengunjungi Pool Putra Pelangi Perkasa di Tajur, Bogor, Jawa Barat. Tentu saja kunjungan saya kali ini untuk melihat bus Putra Pelangi Perkasa dengan chassis Mercedes-Benz OC500RF 2542. 4 unit sudah rilis dari Adiputro, sempat mampir ke Mercedes-Benz di Ciputat untuk pengecekan.

Bus Tingkat Jakarta Terbaru Mercedes-Benz

Banyak diberitakan di media-media bahwa tahun ini DKI Jakarta akan menerima 30 unit bus sumbangan. 30 unit bus tersebut akan memakai chassis Mercedes-Benz. Dan menurut kabar yang saya dapat, 1 dari 30 unit tersebut akan memakai chassis Mercedes-Benz OC500RF 2542. Jika saya boleh menebak, chassis OC500RF 2542 ini merupakan sumbangan dari Coca-Cola.
Berikut ini merupakan salah satu foto bus tingkat DKI Jakarta dengan body Nusantara Gemilang Maxi Miracle.

PO Pandawa 87 Mercedes-Benz OC500RF 2542

Saat launching pertama kali di IIMS 2014, bus OC500RF 2542 banyak diisukan milik PO Marissa Holiday. Keterangan ini pun diperkuat dengan hadirnya pemilik PO Marissa Holiday di IIMS 2014 dan sempat posting di grup dengan caption "keluarga baru". Dan ada juga yang bilang bus tersebut milik PO Kurnia. Saya pribadi pun belum percaya 100% jika masih belum ada livery pasti.

Setelah IIMS 2014 selesai, bus OC500RF 2542 dengan body Adiputro Jetbus 2 HD tersebut kembali ke Malang. Dan akhirnya pemilik bus tersebut terjawab sudah, ternyata PO Pandawa 87 adalah pemiliknya. PO Pandawa 87 merupakan PO bus pariwisata asal Pasuruan, Jawa Timur.

Kalo boleh saya mengira, mungkin PO Marissa Holiday bukan pemilik bus OC500RF 2542 yang dipamerkan di IIMS 2014 yang lalu. Tapi ada kemungkinan PO Marissa Holiday akan membeli unit OC500RF 2542 kedepannya nanti. Wait and see saja :)

Pahala Kencana Jetbus 2

Baru-baru ini Pahala Kencana merombak salah satu unit mereka dengan body 'Jetbus 2'. Tetapi bukan Jetbus 2 buatan Adiptro, namun Jetbus 2 karya Garasi Pahala Kencana Divisi Bandung.

Unit ini menggunakan chassis Mercedes-Benz OH1525. Sebelumnya memakai body New Marcopolo buatan Adiputro.

Eagle High Evonext GT

Tahun ini Eagle High mengadakan ekpansi besar-besaran dengan membeli 150 unit chassis Mercedes-Benz OH1526. Setelah sebelumnya memakai body dari Adiputro, kini Eagle High menambah jajaran armada bus pariwisata dengan body Evonext GT garapan karoseri New Armada.

Bus PPD Golden Dragon

Bus PPD dengan merk Golden Dragon ini sudah ada di Jakarta sejak bulan Januari 2014 yang lalu. Dari info yang saya dapat, kurang lebih 20 unit PPD akan membeli bus ini. Saya pribadi sangat berharap bus ini bisa segera beroperasi, mengingat kebutuhan transportasi di Jakarta terutama bus yang sangat dibutuhkan masyarakat umum.

 Jika melihat dari model bus ini, maka sangat cocok untuk bus kota. Deck yang rendah membantu naik dan turun penumpang menjadi mudah.

 Saya pribadi belum mengetahui tipe bus Golden Dragon ini. Kemungkinan memiliki tipe XML67 atau XML68. Karena panjang bus ini masih dikisaran 7-8 meter.

Chassis Gemala yang sedang hangat diperbincangkan grup Sinar Jaya Mania ini merupakan buatan PT. IGP (Inti Ganda Perdana). PT. IGP sendiri tergabung dalam Astra Group. Untuk mesin menggunakan Hino J08-series dan seat ambil dari TBINA (Toyota Boshoku Indonesia). Dari info yang saya dapat Sinar Jaya sendiri akan membuat chassis Gemala ini 100 unit lebih. Saat ini chassis Gemala sudah lolos ujicoba dan akan segera diproduksi massal. Rencananya chassis Gemala ini akan digunakan Sinar Jaya untuk bus APTB. Namun tidak menutup kemungkinan digunakan untuk bus AKAP kedepan nya nanti.

Volvo B9TL adalah chassis yang dibuat oleh Volvo khusus untuk bus kota double-deck. Chassis ini diproduksi sejak tahun 2002. Chassis Volvo B9TL merupakan chassis penerus dari Volvo B7TL dan Volvo B10TL. Mesin dari Volvo B9TL ini ada 2 pilihan, yang pertama Volvo D9A Euro III dan Volvo D9B Euro IV. Untuk mesin D9A sendiri menghasilkan power output sebesar 340HP sementara mesin D9B menghasilkan 260HP.

Untuk di kawasan Asia tersendiri sudah banyak populasi bus Volvo B9TL ini. Terutama di Hong Kong dan Singapura. Di Hong Kong ada Kowloon Motor Bus yang mengoperasikan Volvo B9TL ini untuk bus kota. Sementara di Singapura kurang lebih ada 1,200 unit Volvo B9TL milik SBS Transit.

Saya sendiri berharap chassis Volvo B9TL ini bisa dihadirkan untuk bus kota Jakarta atau bus tingkat pariwisata. Dan mungkin saja terwujud karena dari Pak Ahok sendiri sudah menginginkan bus tingkat Jakarta nanti harus menggunakan merk premium eropa.

Bus DAMRI dengan chassis Yutong ini akan melengkapi bus APM Bandara Soekarno Hatta. Type chassis bus ini adalah Yutong ZK6120HGC (terima kasih kang Anjar atas info) dengan engine Weichai dan body All New Legacy dari karoseri Laksana. Bus ini menggunakan bahan bakar gas atau CNG. Gas safety system
Crash sensor
Crash sensor is fitted on bus body and it is automatically activated when its exposed for 8-14 impact, the valves on each gas tank closes and the gas supply to the engine is immediately blocked. The engine is automatically shut off. To reset, the driver has to push down the sensor and restart the engine.
 
Gas leakage diagnosis
The system actively monitors the high and low pressure section in order to detec whether any gas leakage may occur. The driver is warned if leak is detected. The pressure sensors are fitted on the gas panel in the engine compartment.

Gas filling nipple
- NGV2 for rapid filling (approx. 10 minutes with 250 bar feed pressure)
